Just like the forecast called for, it snowed overnight and this morning.

So now there’s a winter wonderland outside.

Today was a pretty day, with new snow that fell last night and bright blue skies. It made for a pleasant scene out my office window.

I haven’t seen any critters out there lately, although there were tracks from something leading to and past the tree closest to my window. But in warmer seasons there are rabbits, groundhogs and even deer on occasion. Oh, plenty of squirrels too.

They all make for pleasant distractions.

It almost looks like a scene from a Christmas card, this view outside my window at work.

And it’s easy to appreciate the trees and snow since I’m inside where it’s warm instead of outside where it’s 7 degrees — especially since it’s going to be much colder tomorrow.

Still, I’m ready for spring training. Then again, I’m always ready for baseball.
